I am very please to announce that I have recently been awarded 2010's Bursary from the Guild of Enamellers. I was surprise when I got the call from Gillie Hoyte Byrom the Guild's Bursary Secretary who informed me of the award.

"The Selectors for the Award were particularly impressed by Bronagh’s rare gift for combining traditional enamelling techniques with modern technology such as laser marking and JewelCAD but all her jewellery is hand-finished. Using plique à jour she brings delicate colourful enamel detail to the more aggressive shapes in her work, harmonizing these two opposing styles to produce a balanced end product"

Now I can delve into the archieves of the Guild and learn more about this facinating art hopfully to inspire further creations!

Welcome to bronaghmullan.co.uk!

I am a designer maker currently completing my degree in Design for Industry at The School of Jewellery in Birmingham City University.

My designing technique has evolved considerably over the last few years and now I am embracing the world of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and related technologies to help me create designs which were previously impractical in terms of costing and time.

My passion is for well executed, detailed and colourful pieces in precious materials which stand alone and can be enjoyed in years to come.

I  hope you enjoy looking through my site.
